Jack Dandy Special

Bet you were thinking Jack Daniels, eh? Well not this time; I do have a dish idea with that for later. For now, this tasty little sandwich has melted PepperJack cheese. It's a twist on the Turkey Melt posted earlier.

What you need:
Two slices of your favorite bread (I suggest rye or whole wheat.)
3-4 pieces of thinly sliced turkey
1 thick piece of sliced ham, grilled
1-2 pieces of PepperJack cheese
A dab of ranch dressing or spicy brown mustard
A little butter or cooking spray to prevent the sandwich from sticking on the pan.

Step 1: Grill the turkey in the pan on medium heat.

Step 2. Put the bread on the greased pan, letting the first side toast.

Step 3. Flip the bread and put half of the grilled turkey on each slice of bread. Add a piece of the cheese of your choice to each half.

Step 4. Cover with a lid for about 30seconds-1.5 minutes (until cheese is melted). If the bread is toasting faster than the cheese is melting reduce the heat to low).

Step 5. Remove the sandwich from the pan, but do not close it yet!

Step 6. Put a dab of the ranch dressing or mustard on one side of the sandwich. Close, and cut the sandwich.

**Tip** For a shortcut, toast the bread in a conventional toaster while grilling the turkey, ham a cheese.
