Have left-over sausage and peppers? If not, that's okay you can follow my recipe to make a fresh batch.
What you need:
1-1.5 Italian Sausage links (you can use the Spicy ones if you'd like)
1/2 a Bell Pepper,sliced into strips
1/3 Onion sliced into strips
Some Pizza dough (1/2 a can or 1/4 of the wheat pizza dough recipe).
Olive Oil to brush the surface of the calzone
**Oregano and/or parsley to shake on the top
Step 1. Preheat the oven to 450
Step 2. Roll out the pizza dough, and stack the ingredients in a long row in the center of your dough.
Step 3. Roll like a burrito.
Step 4. With a sharp knife slice a few vents on the top of your calzone.
Step 5. Brush the surface with a little olive oil and sprinkle the seasonings.
Step 6. Cook on a cookie sheet at 450 for about 15 minutes.
**Optional** Dip in some Nubsauce or Ranch. Yum!
