Can't sleep because you're thinking about your grumbling tummy? We've all experienced that sensation at some point. A trick that works for me, so that I can fall asleep quickly is to make a small snack. Something like a bowl of cereal, a bagel with cream cheese, or some apple slices will do the trick. Nothing spicy or too filling that you will lay there thinking about how stuffed you are feeling, or that might encourage restless sleep.
If you are thinking about the apple slices, try dipping them in some Vanilla Yogurt or Peanut Butter. This will make it more satisfying treat.
If you often want a midnight snack, you can prepare something like jello with bananas or other fruit inside ahead of time.

**Tip** Invest the few dollars into an apple slicer/corer. These are fantastic kitchen gadgets that help you make your prep-time for apple dishes almost non-existent.
